Cold Driven's debut album, "Set In Stone" has established them as a fresh new force, revealing a multi-faceted group which thrives on creative exploration and escape.
"Bittersweet Casualty" took home the 2006 "Song of the Year" at the Scorpion awards in Vernon, B.C. with nominations garnered in 5 other categories, including Album of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Rock Artist or Group of the Year, Songwriter of the Year.
With The 2007 release of "Steel Chambers", Cold Driven is one step closer to becoming Canada's next "Big Thing".
Also in 2007, Cold Driven took home 5 awards this year from the Scorpion Awards the most by all artists this year with "Songwriters of the Year", "Group of the Year" and the coveted "People's Choice"
Billy, Dennis, Shane, Ben, Bryn and Kalen come from very diverse musical backgrounds, each bringing something individual to the table. Their self-taught talents were used as a way to express their emotions and aspirations; it was a natural progression that led to the birth of Cold Driven.
The band's combination of heavy rock, laden with surreal ominous strains of pulsating beats with passive acoustic strumming, grabbed the attention of a wide audience when featured on Garage Band. The pieces selected by Garage Band from their debut album won them accolades such as Track of the Day, Track of the Week, Best Drums, Best Programming, Most Original, Best Lyrics, Best Male Vocals, Best Bass, Best Beat, and Rocking Track.

Cold Driven has two full length records out "Set in Stone" 2005 and "Steel Chambers" 2007. With "Bittersweet Caisualty" taking home Song of the Year at the Okanagan Music Awards in 2006 and "Steel Chambers" collecting 5 OMA's in 2007.
Radio stations such as Z-98 Sioux City, IA, XM Satellite Radio Washington DC, Rock the Box in the UK, Power 104.7 FM Kelowna BC, and 99.3 The Fox in Vancouver BC have showcased music from "Set in Stone", and Cold Driven was one of the top bands in the Fox Vancouver Seeds competition.
