Diesel May has risen from the ashes of the bands Trail of Dust and Seven Minute Mile. With similar ideals in place, the band came together with a burning drive for swagger drenched grooves and beer swilling rock and roll. Diesel May are not the rock stars spoiled on reality TV. Instead they're a simple mix of Alberta prairie soaked in gasoline, poised for the flick of your Bic. Hit up a show or spin the tunes and you'll see what I mean!

Thursday, May 29, 2008 It has been a long time coming, but the album is coming soon. Everything has been recorded and the main mixing is complete. Just some final adjustments to the mix and it is off for mastering and pressing. We should have the album out this summer. There will be a big ole release party in the making, so we hope to see everyone there... so "be there, and if you're not there you better be dead, or in jail, and if your in jail, break out!"

Monday, April 14, 2008 Despite some delays, the album is coming along really well. Chris has found a groove and is hammering out some great performances in the studio. There are a couple of rough tracks posted from some recent vocal sessions... check 'em out!

Friday, January 25, 2008 Since the Quiet Riot show fell through, we were contacted by the Snatch Rock bar in Calgary to do another show. On February 6, 2008 we will be opening for Slaughter. Kick Ass. We want to see ya'll out there.

Thursday, November 29, 2007 As you may or may not have heard. Due to the un-timely death of Quiet Riot's frontman, Kevin Dubrow, on Sunday, Novemeber 25, 2007... the show has been cancelled. Thursday, October 11, 2007 Well, we've done two weekend sessions in the studio so far. The album is coming along. We have most of the music done; all that is left is some clean guitar and acoustic guitar... all the rough stuff is done. Chris should be getting a start on vocals at the next session as well, in early November. Keep checking back to find out how things are going and get some info on cd release parties and stuff, cause we're gonna do it up good when this thing is done. Later.

Sunday, August 5, 2007 Diesel May is going into the studio (finally) on September 14th to record their first full length album. The songs will be posted here when the album is finished. Until then come check out the band at the Calgary Tattoo convention after party on Sept. 2 at Snatch.
