Hard, heavy and melodic - this begins the description of LIPHT. This four piece rock group hails from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and formed in late 2005. The name LIPHT describes the personal revolution instigated by self examination, and stays the theme to this day. Lyrically incriminating songs indict the listener and suggest a realization of self and other abuses. The power of this message is prevalent and forces an amazing display of energy and emotion onstage.

The past years have presented amazing opportunities and developments with LIPHT. The changes have brought forth positive growth, and the increasing support has been indescribably humbling. LIPHT has had the pleasure of taking the stage beside many great bands including: Vince Neil, Days of the New, Portal, Chunk, Sittin Idol, Chyshuga, Strata, Cold Driven, Somastate, Calico Drive, Five Years Further, Apache Rose, The Omega Theory and Rigveda. Other highlights include: playing an exclusive meet and greet for Hinder, meeting Godsmack, Thornley, and the amazing production and tour managers for Metallica.

Music adapts to every emotion life can present - there is no better medium. The words that so many people find hard to say can be eloquated by a single chord. At times, music is the only thing in life that we truly allow through the walls we build around ourselves. This is LIPHT's domain.
