The Order of Chaos was formed in 2004 in Stony Plain, Alberta.
The objective of the band was to depart from the typical "noise" metal sound that is so prevalent in the edmonton metal scene, thus creating a very original and distinct sound, that could be appreceated by music lovers alike regardless of their listening preferences.
But dont get it wrong. These guys will kick your ass!
Having had the opportunity to play with the likes of Godsmack, Sonata Arctica and others, The Order of Chaos continuously displays the ability to put on memorable performances in front of even the largest of crowds. After winning the Ookfest Battle of the Bands in 2007, they were frequently mentionned by several radio personalities, and got airtime on various local and internet stations. The Order of Chaos has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the Edmonton Music Scene.

Sonata Arctica @ The Starlite Room - Review:
A gritty opening set by Stony Plain's "The Order of Chaos" - whose front woman was a suitable mix of crass, sexy, growly and clear - proved their tight heady riffs were something to watch for in the local metal scene.

Review from the Godsmack Website:
The order of chaos rocked us HARD!!!!! the local band featured four guys on the instruments, and a female lead...they guys were amazing to watch, from the bare footed drummer, to the bald headed guitarist that on his final song played behind his head. the female lead?? wonderful sound, and an even better primal scream!!! they all interacted well with the crowd, and got us even more pumped up...
